Vincent's herniated (also known as slipped) disc has been operated on and he is now recovering well in Mount Alvernia.
That man is like an ox - nothing gets him down. The anesthesia couldn't even keep him asleep after the surgery and by the time he was wheeled back to the ward he was already flirting with the nurses. Tsk.
As for updates, wedding plans were put on hold for the past month due to the uncertainties surrounding this operation. Dates, venues and activities are still up in the air. The only thing that we've been actively doing is house hunting, and that my friends, is really an eye-opener. Nearly placed a deposit on a 3-room hdb flat in Jln Bahagia that is double-storeyed with a surrounding garden and shed and a parking lot serving only a few families. It was exactly how the ad described: Like Landed!
But first important lesson learnt for the week: Can't let the heart rule the head.
In the end, we decided to let this great house go cos' it just wouldn't have been practical in the long run. Sigh.
So the search continues...
